The Story of Awe

The Alliance of Women Executives (AWE) was inspired during a 2016 Uber ride in New York City as I reflected on the incredible women who supported me through my father’s illness and passing. I realized they didn’t know each other and bringing them together would create something powerful. As a recruiter, I valued networks and envisioned a group focused on sharing experiences and supporting one another. Over brunch, I shared my vision of helping young women in Palm Beach County overcome financial barriers to education through scholarships. Within 4 hours AWE was formed!

What began as a small gathering evolved into a structured network dedicated to fundraising and awarding financial support and new laptops young women need to pursue their higher education.

“Changing the world begins at home” is a philosophy I hold close to my heart. This is AWE! It means starting in our own community, addressing the challenges we see every day and making a tangible difference.
